Helioscreen's customers have known it all along: the Belgian screen weaver from Lokeren knows every aspect of its PVC-coated fiberglass fabrics inside out and leaves nothing to chance. "We have even come up with a name for our unique way of working: Dynamic Stability Weaving™, DSW for short," says Helioscreen sales and marketing manager Leo De Maeyer.
Dynamic Stability Weaving™ stands for:
"Because Helioscreen monitors the weaving process very closely, the screen fabrics have excellent quality and lie perfectly flat on the cutting table," says De Maeyer. "Moreover, they roll up and down smoothly and are very stable, even in large dimensions. The fabrics can therefore be perfectly integrated into the various systems and applications of end users."
"The cut loss for the fabricator is limited because Helioscreen - depending on the type of fabric - offers up to six different roll widths. In addition, customers save time because they can consult the information on each roll they purchase digitally. Thanks to the optimized packaging technique, the cloths by definition always arrive undamaged," De Maeyer assures.
But the end customer is not forgotten by the company in Lokeren either. The employees know all the technical aspects of the screen cloths inside out. After all, they must ensure that the thermal and visual comfort in a home or building is optimal. In addition, the screens help to prevent overheating, reducing cooling loads in summer. With a climate that is heating up faster and faster, this is no luxury.
"In addition to the technical aspects, Helioscreen also knows how to score highly with its products in terms of aesthetics," De Maeyer knows. "After all, the screens provide a sleek, modern look, while the view to the outside is always guaranteed. This also contributes to the comfort and well-being of the end user."
So it is not surprising that canvases from Helioscreen can be found in buildings around the world. For example, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in China has chosen Helioscreen for its screen cloths of no less than 27 meters high(!). And what about the staggering eighty thousand square meters of Panama Pro, to be delivered in the desert? Helioscreen did it for the Princes Noura University in Saudi Arabia. Helioscreen even conducts art projects on screen cloth. With print-on-screen, buildings in the Netherlands and Norway, among others, have been turned into eye-catchers.
Helioscreen Expertise
"Through its many years of experience, Helioscreen has become the reference for sun protection within the project market," says Leo De Maeyer. "Partly due to the integration of Helioscreen within the Hunter Douglas group, we have all important disciplines in-house: from wire making to weaving, from confectioning to assembling, from mounting to providing service and aftercare. As Helioscreen Fabrics, we export our blinds fabrics worldwide. Our sister company Helioscreen Projects has become the reference in the Benelux for sun protection systems within the project market. Consequently, Helioscreen has the products and expertise needed to meet every functional and aesthetic need of a project."
