markilux is expanding its range with a new mini series. Ten carefully matched designs in four harmonious color worlds bring timeless elegance to patio design. The exclusive fabric collection ‘FineLine’ will be launched in February.
The designs in the new collection are the result of observing trends over several seasons. “Our goal was to develop a collection that consciously focuses on the essentials,” says Annette Busch, head of textile design at markilux. “We identified and reinterpreted colors that defy different trends season after season and are simply always up-to-date.” With their natural, finely nuanced hues, the ‘FineLine’ canvases create a calm, harmonious atmosphere. For each color world in the collection, markilux provides specific recommendations for matching façade and frame colors. This creates a balanced aesthetic that combines architecture and shading system in terms of design.

‘FineLine’ is part of markilux's visutex collection, which is characterized by exclusive designs. The textile, tactile structure of the acrylic fabrics is reminiscent of fine fabrics and emphasizes their timeless character. All ten designs from the four color themes Grape & Berry, Sand & Toffee, Pistachio & Sage and Stone & Basalt are based on colors from nature and fit naturally into various patio and garden concepts - from small sunbathing areas to spacious terraces.
The new cloth collection offers a high level of heat protection and helps protect the skin from the sun's rays. The spindle dyeing of the yarn gives the cloth its high light resistance. In this process, the dye is applied directly to the inside of the fiber. This ensures lasting colorfastness and prevents the cloths from fading.
The new acrylic awning fabrics also impress with their high material resistance and the usual high markilux quality. Their surface is particularly dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning effect. Water droplets absorb dirt particles and simply roll off. This keeps the fabric clean for longer, simplifying maintenance and extending the life of the screen.
