JASNO makes realistic shutter visualizations available in SketchUp

New, free extension supports dealers and sales processes

Since this month, shutter company JASNO a new integration within SketchUp. The new feature allows users of the popular 3D design program to easily and realistically incorporate JASNO Shutters and Blinds into interior designs. The extension is available free of charge to all SketchUp users and allows designs with actual product specifications from JASNO.

SketchUp is a widely used software tool worldwide among dealers, outlets, interior designers, architects and other interior design professionals to visually elaborate living concepts. Thanks to the new JASNO extension, users can now work with realistic product configurations that match the capabilities of the actual product. As a result, visualizations better match the final end result and create a more realistic design.

Automatically the right configuration

The extension ensures that shutters are automatically fitted based on the dimensions of the window. In addition, the program independently generates the correct panel division, entirely in accordance with JASNO's product specifications. Where previously, for example, one large shutter panel was drawn in for a wide window, a technically correct distribution is now applied as JASNO also supplies in practice.

In addition, the extension contains various JASNO product-specific features. For example, all JASNO colors and grain structures are available and visually visible, and in the case of Venetian blinds, the correct ladder band color is immediately selected. This creates a much more accurate and visually stronger design that better matches the actual situation.

More efficient design and stronger sales pitch

For dealers and interior design professionals, the new extension offers additional opportunities to include customers in the design process. “With this extension, professionals and dealers can give their customers a much more realistic picture of the end result,” says Harold Peters, sales manager of JASNO. “Because the visualizations link up with the actual product specifications of our shutters and blinds, wishes can be mapped more accurately and the process from design to execution is more efficient. This helps to go into the sales meeting stronger.” The new functionality thus meets the growing need for visual sales support within the interior and blinds industry.
