Always listening to installers and end customers, Soprofen developed the GOODNIGHT front roller shutter in late 2020, a patented evolution that provides a perfect balance between natural light during the day and maximum blackout at night.

Maximum light and optimal blackout

Thanks to a filed black PVC sliding system in the guide with a blackout brush seal combined with a coextruded rubber. In addition, the first slat of the shutter blade received a sealing strip that completes the blackout at the level of the shutter box, at the bottom the same effect is created by the special blackout rubber at the end slat. Goodnight also generates a significant gain in terms of thermal insulation.

During the day, GOODNIGHT guarantees maximum light penetration thanks to an ultra-compact box (from just 13.5 cm for a 1.60 m high window to 16.5 cm for a 2.40 m high window). Thanks to new end stops on the bottom slat and unique walk-in funnels in the guides, the end slat does not protrude from the shutter box. This allows even more natural light to enter the room.

The innovation Goodnight by SOPROFEN is available in 4 designs: the elegant DECO, the semi-circular CORO, the quarter-round QUARTO and the model with bevelled corners PACO. With three sizes of boxes (135, 165, 205 mm), slats of 37 and 50 mm and 12 standard color combinations (wide range of RAL colors as an option), GOODNIGHT easily fits all styles. Even in the most exposed regions (such as by the sea), as SOPROFEN offers the ‘high resistance coating’ option. And for optimum comfort, SOPROFEN offers a wide choice of control options: solar, wired and radio motorization, as well as compatibility with home automation solutions on the market.

An R&D department that is constantly on the cutting edge

“Our production site in Charleroi recently invested 1.3 million euros in a state-of-the-art powder coating booth. This innovative facility can process profiles up to 7 meters long, reducing our dependence on external service providers. We are now able to internally lacquer all our products sold in Belgium and the Netherlands thanks to our second lacquering installation,” said Bertje Lecluyse. 

This project is fully in line with corporate social responsibility (CSR), as it significantly reduces the transport of profiles, which were previously transported by truck. This investment represents a significant step forward in the manufacturer's commitment to more sustainable and efficient practices. “We also continue to listen to our installers in terms of service. For example, we have recently set up a hotline for them to resolve any problems during installation at their end customer's premises as well and as quickly as possible,” adds Bertje Lecluyse.
