After first launching an acrylic fabric collection on the market, Guillaume Janssen - producer of special sun protection systems and manufacturer of sun protection fabrics - also introduced its own screen fabric collection last year. In the sun protection market, this cloth collection has been so well received that the range is being further expanded. "This further strengthens our role as an independent fabric manufacturer," says account manager Ruben de Jong.
As a leading independent confectioner, Guillaume Janssen has been stocking the screen and acrylic fabric collections of Europe's leading awning suppliers for over forty years. For the confection of the various screen fabric collections, among other things, the company recently invested in an additional sealing machine. "This is because we are busy further expanding our new Sergé screen cloth collection - marketed under the name GJ - Solar Screen Collection," says Ruben. "For example, in 2025 the variety of colors will be increased from 10 to 23. In addition to the Sergé designs, the collection also includes 10 Soltis Veozip designs. These cloths are distinguished by the high-quality Smart Yarn Technology, which results in less waffling. Also, this technology gives extra strength to the cloth."
Guillaume Janssen's unique fabric collections are divided into a number of categories. "This enables us to provide the entire sun protection industry with the right type of cloth," Ruben clarifies. One of those categories is the GJ-Solar Pro Collection with the Sauleda Green by Guillaume Janssen fabric. "This is the first shading fabric that purifies the air through photocatalysis. This coating also makes the fabric significantly less susceptible to dirt and deposits. With this revolutionary cloth, we recently completed - together with our customer - an interesting replacement project in Amsterdam, where environmental friendliness and sustainability were paramount."
Since 2000, Guillaume Janssen has established its name on the European international market as a manufacturer of exceptional sun protection systems. On February 14, 2025, companies from the entire sun protection industry will have the opportunity to get to know the Zwolle-based company more closely. "Indeed, on that day, the European roadshow of our supplier Serge Ferrari will visit our premises to present the SOLTIS® brand to the trade public in two showroom trucks," Ruben explains. "In doing so, we also offer visitors the opportunity to visit our model room and workshop in Zwolle. We would therefore like to invite everyone to come and see our new collections. Or take a look at our updated website gjbv.nl."
