'Soltis Loop® Sunmate sets a new standard'

Soltis Loop® Sunmate by Serge Ferrari is a new generation of innovative cloths designed specifically for indoor blinds. The cloths are made from 100% recycled polyester yarns (recycling standard 4.0) for the fabric and 100% recycled polymers for the coating. Hence the English word "loop" - loop, bend, cycle - in the name. Key Account Manager Benelux Dirk Driessen of Serge Ferrari tells the story of Soltis Loop® Sunmate.

"Soltis Loop® Sunmate is a durable fabric that is PVC- and phthalate-free. It has a smaller carbon footprint, so it has less impact on the environment. As a result, it meets LEED, BREEAM, WELL and HQE certification requirements. Important because requirements - especially for non-residential buildings - are becoming increasingly stringent." 

"But of course, Soltis Loop® Sunmate is not only durable and environmentally friendly, it is also a functional product. It is a blackout fabric that protects against prying eyes from outside and therefore increases privacy. At the same time, the fabric provides the right level of light penetration without the possibility of glare. In addition, the fabric also provides protection against overheating by blocking 91% of heat. This creates a more pleasant indoor environment and saves on cooling costs for air conditioning, for example."
