As Mermet, Hunter Douglas screen fabric manufacturers Mermet, Helioscreen, Copaco and Screen Protectors are joining forces. On display at R+T was the new indoor collection of these collaborating brands.
"We are happy to present the new story now," said Interior Product Manager Ann Van Neer. "I think the new collection has a more playful feel and we are very proud of the look and feel." The new interior collection consists of the lines: Essentials, High Performance, Evolution, Darkening, Decorative and Basics. Together they contain about 300 grades. "Whatever color, density or width the customer is looking for, we have it!"
The Essentials represent Mermet's most prized fabrics for indoor blinds. They are woven in a variety of densities to best match the blinds to the orientation of the building. Mermet's most advanced fabrics can be found in the High Performance series, which the company says offer the best performance in their category in terms of glare control, temperature control or acoustic comfort. The Evolution line is designed and made for the sustainable life of tomorrow. This series includes Screen Nature, Ulterio, Zilario 3 and Sea-Tex™ Sterling. With the Darkening series, Mermet offers a wide selection of custom fabrics to optimize both blackout and privacy in indoor spaces. In addition to the more functional technical textiles, Mermet also introduces a highly decorative range within the Decorative series. Finally, there is the Basic range, with which the company appeals to a price-conscious audience. A completely new collection of outdoor screen fabrics will also be launched by Mermet at the end of 2024.
