Wonnink Zonwering with a sunny outlook ahead

“Wonnink Zonwering, based in Amersfoort, is taking the next step toward a sunny future with a strengthened team.”

Ries de Jong, general manager, has been working with his management for the past year on plans for the future of his company.

Ries: “In the year of Wonnink's 50th anniversary, it is good to think about the next phase in the company's development.”

A follow-up step, to be taken as of next September 1, is the entry of Jos Stoit as operations director. Jos thus strengthens the current 4-headed management team.

“Jos is a driven and enthusiastic companion with extensive experience in the awning industry. Experience he gained in executive positions at Schellekens & Schellekens and HunterDouglas, among others.”

Together, Ries and Jos express their desire to expand the reliable and well-established name of Wonnink both regionally and nationally. There is a healthy (and sunny) ambition to grow the existing organization in both scale and professionalism.

“We want to be and remain at least a top five player in the industry. For us, growing in scale and professionalism does not have to mean going it alone. No, we are open to constructive forms of cooperation that will help us achieve our objectives. This is something we want to look at broadly and will elaborate and take steps in the coming years.
