Zonnelux: ‘Motion by Zonnelux will be on the market in early 2021!’

This can be done with a remote control, but the latest trend is home motion. In this, the or window decoration is controlled by cell phone or by voice. 

With a user-friendly app, window decoration can be operated even when the occupants of a house or the users of a building are not at home or present. Moreover, by setting scenarios, window decoration can be automatically opened or closed at set times, such as in the morning at sunrise or when it gets warmer than a certain preset temperature. 

Zonnelux is also capitalizing on this trend in window decoration. In spring 2021, Zonnelux will launch Motion by Zonnelux. With Motion by Zonnelux, it is possible to control the window decoration with the smartphone or with a voice control system, such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. 

Rechargeable battery motors

Almost all of Zonnelux's window decoration is already available motorized. For electric window decoration, both a rechargeable battery motor and a wired motor connected to the mains can be chosen. 

Of course, the biggest advantage of rechargeable battery motors is that connecting to the power grid is not necessary, which greatly simplifies installation. Charging the integrated battery is as easy as charging a smartphone and only needs to be done once or once a year. The charging frequency depends on how often window coverings are operated and their size. The rechargeable battery motors are available in combination with wood blinds, aluminum blinds, roller blinds, duo blinds, Duette® blinds, pleated blinds and folding blinds.
