Jens Fiig, General Manager Benelux of the Nice Group, greeted visitors at R+T with a big smile. Consequently, the stand of the specialist in "Home Management Solutions" was pleasantly busy. "We are a young and dynamic company and we show that with our colorful booth. As a company we don't just make products, but intelligent building management systems and innovative solutions."
On over 600 square meters, the Nice team showcased the company's range of integrated solutions and products. Among them was the new Next series of tube motors for blinds, zipper screens and shutters. "We always ask ourselves what innovation can help the customer," Fiig said. "Then we take sustainability as a starting point for development." In the case of the new tubular motors, Nice focuses on maximum efficiency and control of the products without compromising on elegance or performance. "When developing Next series, we looked closely at ways to make the motors more sustainable and better. For example, Next motors 35% consume less energy than comparable other motors and 59% emit less CO2 during production than the previous Nice model."
The motors are ready to use and can be installed quickly thanks to the pre-assembled, detachable cable. The same applies to the Nice Next Solar Kit version. It is already charged and can be used immediately. Once installed, the motors can be controlled with the Yubii Home Pro Gateway, for which Nice received an Innovation Award. "This Smart Home System excels in simplicity, integration and security," Fiig believes. "It is a wireless and open system that connects all products in and around the home. From blinds to garage door, as well as lighting and climate control. The user can set scenarios so that the blinds, for example, go up automatically in the morning, and down again at the end of the day." But the new motors offer even more advantages, according to Fiig. "Our advanced braking technology ensures smooth and quiet movement."
