Mr. Joseph M. Kuling has been appointed chairman of VMRG, the trade association for metal facades and façade elements, by the VMRG General Meeting of Members. Kuling sees his new role primarily as a connector.
Kuling: "I try to connect the members, all the facade builders who proudly carry the VMRG Hallmark, but the VMRG also has more than 100 partners and I also find it incredibly important to keep these companies properly connected to the association. From my role, I think it is important that the association looks after the interests of all its member companies in the best possible way, taking into account the important position our companies occupy in the construction column. I believe that with the experience I have from the construction and engineering industry I can be an added value to the association."
Kuling has been a statutory director at several companies in engineering, construction and industry for the past 25 years. Since the beginning of this year, he has been self-employed.
