Farewell to Cees Schoneveld: 19 Years of screen specialist at Unilux

After nearly two decades at Unilux, account manager Cees Schoneveld is retiring as of February 1, and Unilux is saying goodbye to icon Cees and his rich track record. "Many new products have been introduced and the market has grown considerably," he says looking back on his career.

A highlight for Cees was the introduction of the Plissé fit. "The mounting options and the noiseless chain were really innovative steps," he stresses. He has seen the relationship between Unilux and dealers evolve into a strong, mutually beneficial partnership.

"We have always strived to make it as good as possible both for the dealer and for Unilux," Cees explains.

He sees reliability, quality products and fast delivery times as critical success factors.

The best memories are in the personal contacts. "The conviviality at trade shows with customers and colleagues, those are unforgettable moments," he says with a smile. To new account managers, he advises: "Stay yourself, know your product and keep your commitments!”

About the future of the screen market, Cees is optimistic. "It is still a growth market," he notes. With his departure, Unilux says goodbye to an experienced professional who has helped shape the company's atmosphere and culture.
