Jasper Gaarenstroom, Inside Sales at Totallux, says the company continues to grow in a rapidly changing market. "The R+T and Polyclose trade shows were very successful for our outdoor products. These events provided a big boost to existing customers and gave us a number of new relationships. Our outdoor division is doing very well at the moment."

Special requests

Gaarenstroom continues: "This year we were able to realize special requests for a number of customers, such as unique cables and dimming sets, which really required some development time. We also developed a new, invisible suspension system for wall lights and even concealed all the screws in it. It is precisely these details and better workmanship in which our products stand out." A trend that Gaarenstroom notes is the increasing popularity of RGBW lighting: "Whereas this used to be an occasional option, we now see that it is increasingly chosen as standard."

Expansion towards Germany

Over the past year, Totallux has grown considerably, both in terms of visibility and team. "Our inside sales department has been expanded with more colleagues, allowing us to support our customers even better," said Gaarenstroom. "For the outdoor department, it is particularly interesting that we have now added a German representative. Much growth and development is still possible in Germany, which is why we would like to add even more German colleagues to our team next year."

Totallux is also looking to the future by investing in smart home solutions and new LED technologies, responding to the growing demand for smart and efficient lighting solutions. The focus is on integrating LED systems that can be easily controlled via smartphones and tablets, a development that will become increasingly important in both the marine and outdoor sectors in the coming years.
