Exterior blinds, shutters and awnings play as important a role in optimizing the climate resistance of the building envelope as they do in the facade design of modern architecture. Whether they are to set colorful accents or be discreetly integrated into the façade - the Warema color world enables optically perfectly matched awnings to be realized for every design idea. Large color spectrum facilitates consultation and planning

The wide color range of high-quality powder-coated aluminum components provides an excellent basis for consultation and planning. This applies to all aluminum components of Warema sun protection products - for guide rails/profiles, hoods, cabinets and frames. For better orientation and faster results in the consultation situation, Warema colors are divided into three categories: Highlight, Variation and Individual:

• All 16 colors in the best-selling Highlight series are characterized by timeless elegance. The favorite colors of Warema customers underline the high quality and design of the sun protection products with style and have now been expanded to include four new trend colors.
• With 46 colors, it offers Variation color palette an expanded color spectrum when the selected base color is to be varied with subtle nuances in color character. This is now complemented by new anodized reproductions.
• The maximum range Individual offers almost unlimited freedom in color selection. With the wide variety and fine gradations of the 98 colors, this allows all design ideas for the color combinations of Warema aluminum components to be realized.

The Warema colors are defined according to the RAL color shades and the DB color chart. They can therefore be optimally matched to facade coatings and other elements, or further enriched with iron gloss additives for standardized visual effects. In line with the trend toward anodized surfaces, the Warema color world also offers a selection from light bronze tones to dark gold nuances. Entirely individual color combinations can also be realized at Warema.

Gloss and texture in three categories

All colors in the Highlight and Variation categories are available as standard for individual customer requirements in three different surface finishes, at no additional cost. The subtle differences in texture and gloss level are not only visually perceptible, but also tangible. The trend is toward highly weather-resistant surfaces, which give the coatings even better UV stability and up to three times greater resistance to changes in color intensity and gloss level.

• Strong weatherproof mat: The matte surface retains its color intensity and does not lose its color depth even after years of exposure to sun and rain.
• Strong weather-resistant fine texture: The surface with fine texture and subtle optical effects brings the color effect to life and is particularly resistant to scratches and dirt.
• Silk gloss: The easy-care surface with its soft, elegant sheen provides a permanently beautiful look with excellent light and weather resistance.

Surface finish and durability

For more than 30 years Warema has been applying coatings of the highest quality level and has a name for best color competence on the market. Five in-house high-capacity coating plants promise maximum flexibility in color selection and technical execution. Decades of experience in the coating process and excellent product standards ensure optimum color results in the finishing of awning components - on request also for contract coating.

The excellent coating quality guarantees the best weather resistance and long life of Warema surfaces - independently tested by the Quality Association for Piecework Coating (GSB). Warema aluminum components are coated as standard in the second highest GSB weather resistance class A4/A5 Sea Proof. The standard coating with chromium-free pretreatment corresponds to guideline GSB AL 631.

New Highlights

In addition to four new trend colors in the Highlight color category, trendy anodized imitations are now available in the Variation color category.

The surface finishes Matte and Fine Texture are now available in Strong Weatherproof quality at no additional cost.
