Brustor: 'A vacation feeling in one's own garden'

'Staying outdoors with the comforts of indoors' is what Brustor strives for for outdoor living. Two new canopies have been added to Brustor's already wide range for the 2021 season. They are the B250 XL and the B600 S Screen. 

B250 XL

The Brustor B250 XL is a splash-proof, aluminum slat roof with tiltable slats 21 cm wide. Brustor has strived for a sleek design with no visible screws. The tilting slats allow the end user to choose how much sunlight to let in. 

By using a rubber strip on the gutters, Brustor has ensured a perfect connection of the slats to the gutters. As a result, the roof offers excellent protection against splashing water. Moreover, cold air flow between the slats and the gutters is prevented, making the roof windproof when combined with the optional, integrated zipscreens. Another advantage of the B250 XL, according to Brustor, is that the radiant heat from a patio heater, also optional, is better retained due to the tight seal. 

In combination with the mentioned optional zipscreens and heating, this patio cover can be used all year round. The B250 XL can be used freestanding on the terrace or in the garden, as well as semi-detached, attached to the facade of a house or building. 

B600 S Screen

The B600 S Screen builds on the B600. The difference, according to Brustor, lies in some surprising innovations. As with the B600, the S-shaped slats can both tilt and slide open to any desired position. Thanks to this double function, optimal light and sunlight can always be realized on the terrace and in the house, even during dark winter days. When the roof is open, the slats connect very compactly to each other and then occupy only 13% of the total surface area, thus achieving optimal light incidence. 

An important novelty of the B600 S Screen - the name says it all - is the possibility of fitting the pergola with screens integrated into the frame almost invisibly and without visible screws. They block out the sun, possibly the wind, and provide privacy while maintaining a view of the outside. Wider and higher gutters provide more efficient drainage of rainwater and are easier to install, without the use of silicone. 

Universally usable

Thanks to the many options and possibilities to personalize the canopies, Brustor offers the possibility to use its canopies very universally. That means even at times when conditions are normally less favorable for spending time outdoors, such as later in the evening or earlier or later in the season. 

Led lighting - Brustor offers a wide choice of lighting for its canopies. Direct or indirect, up- and downlighting or both. Ambient lighting is intended to provide users with an extra pleasant stay experience. 

Brustor chooses energy-efficient and durable LED lighting. Cables are concealed invisibly. The lighting can be dimmed to adjust exactly to the users' requirements. 

Terrace heating - To make staying in during chilly evenings or earlier or later in the season possible, Brustor offers a patio heater to mount under the canopy. It is available in a white, black or anodized version. 

Integrated screens - Screens can also be integrated into the canopies. They can be built into the frame completely seamlessly. During the day, they keep out sunlight and can also serve to increase privacy. In the evening, they keep the heat in. Thanks to the screens, it also remains wind-free under a canopy. 

For maximum convenience, the slatted roof, LED lighting, patio heating and screens can be easily controlled by smartphone and tablet.
