ALUKON roll-up doors and ceiling wicket doors of the new generation

"Assembly of the roller shutter has been considerably simplified as the armor is now retracted with the mounting straps supplied as standard," explains ALUKON's Sales Manager Benelux & UK Hans Becks. The shutters are now equipped with electronic drives and therefore have automatic end position recognition. These drives are available with and without emergency hand controls. A pendulum rod is supplied as standard in a length of 140 or 220 cm, according to the customer's choice." 

The components of the sill protector are also new. "With these new components, the transmitter and receiver of the under-sill protection can be easily connected via plugs in the newly designed switch box," Becks said. "The user-friendly operating accessories and shutter control have been retained." 

ALUKON roll-up doors up to 520 cm wide are henceforth provided with a narrow bottom bar that is finished in black to better match the black rubber of the lower sill protection. From 520 cm door width onwards, a higher and more stable bottom bar is provided, which is supplied in the color of the armor. 

To compensate for sloping garage floors, ALUKON has a sloping bottom bar in the delivery program that is individually adapted to the customer's requirements. It can be used over the full width of the door up to a maximum height difference of 300 mm. 

"ALUKON ceiling walkway doors are equipped with a new drive unit with integrated lift protection," Hans Becks reports in conclusion. The corner connectors are now made of black plastic. The cover plate has a rubber lip that neatly seals the space between the plate and the armor. The suspension brackets are universally applicable for both wall and ceiling mounting and can easily be customized on site."
