Acquisition of Verstappen by Sjoerd den Rooijen and Next LP Group

As of November 1, 2024, Sjoerd den Rooijen, in close cooperation with the Next LP Group, is taking over Schijndel-based sun protection specialist Verstappen. With this strategic step, they are jointly strengthening their position in the private market, with Verstappen continuing to distinguish itself as one of the few Verano® partners in the region offering customized solutions.

A rich history and forward-looking vision

Verstappen was founded in 1971 by the parents of Ingrid Delmee-Verstappen and has undergone an impressive development ever since. Where the family business began by stitching cloths in the garage and selling awnings from a trailer, it has now grown into a leading awning specialist within Schijndel, Meierijstad and the surrounding area.

With years of dedication, Lambert Delmee and Ingrid Delmee-Verstappen have built the company into a solid organization with a wide range of products, ranging from roller shutters and zipper screens to window decoration, awnings and pergola blinds. With the addition of the well-known Lenco® systems and Verano® outdoor living, Verstappen is ready for the future thanks to the new partnership.

Maintaining quality and service

The acquisition provides a solid basis for the continuity of the company. For employees nothing will change and for customers the excellent service and quality will remain guaranteed. Former owners Lambert and Ingrid will therefore remain involved in the coming months in order to realize a warm and careful transfer. From November 1, the team will be strengthened with Sjoerd den Rooijen as the new director/owner of Verstappen B.V. Thanks to the participation of Lenco® within the Next LP Group, Verstappen will be able to benefit from synergy advantages with other companies in the group, such as Lenco® itself, as well as similar companies like Petru and Voets.
