Tudor Roller Doors: 'The Polynorm roller door revived!'

Improved technique and more colors

Tudor Roll-A-Doors has taken over the import and distribution of the Polynorm Roll-A-Door from Finish Doors. The parent company of this roller door, the company B&D of Australia, has several companies worldwide that license their Roll-A-Door® and the Rollover® producing doors. Tudor Roller Doors has partnered with Northern Irish company Tilt-a-Dor. So the Polynorm roller door from Tudor Roller Doors is now called Tilt-a-Dor roller door.

Uninsulated roller doors are widely used in self-storage storage sheds.

Developed production

Tilt-a-dor roller doors have been upgraded and improved in many ways. The top of the door is curved to avoid tension in the metal and the plastic guide lugs have been replaced with double wheels. The guide rails are all aluminum. The ribbed armor is formed by mechanical pressing instead of roll forming, which prevents bending and wave formation in the door leaf. The doors are available from a width of 1000 mm to 3657 mm with a maximum height of 3048 mm and in twelve different colors and two wood designs.

Replacement market and self-storage

The demand for uninsulated roller doors is declining, although they are still in demand from the replacement market. In addition, they are widely used by companies that build their own self-storage storage sheds. So that is also where Tudor Roller Doors' focus lies.
