“The demand for sustainable solutions is growing rapidly and has become an indispensable part of the shading industry,” said Rob Jongenelen, commercial manager at Smits Rolluiken en Zonwering. “With the introduction of the Neosol S300 solar motor in selected roller shutters, we already took an important step in early 2025. Now we are expanding this offer: the S300 is from now on also available for various SolidScreen models. With this we offer our customers even more options for choosing high-quality solar powered sun protection.”
Developed by Stella Advanced Technology, the Neosol S300 stands for quiet, reliable and efficient operation. The motor runs entirely on solar energy and has been extensively tested for more than 36,000 cycles - good for a lifetime of approximately 50 years of use. With a very low noise level of 49 dBA, the motor also contributes to a comfortable, quiet environment.

The Neosol S300 is now also applied in:
SolidScreen Standard 105 Solar;
SolidScreen XS 105 Solar;
SolidScreen XS 125 Solar (new cabinet size).
The SolidScreen range has been expanded to include a 125 mm case size for the SolidScreen XS Solar. By now also offering this cabinet size within the solar range, we are responding to the demand for solar products in larger sizes. With this addition, dealers and end-users get more flexibility and even more possibilities to apply sustainable solar screens.

He continues: “With the Neosol S300, we are also adding an additional option to our motor program. In addition to our extensive Somfy program, we now offer even more choice in sustainable and reliable solar solutions. Dealers can therefore better respond to diverse customer requirements and end users are given the freedom to choose the solution that best suits their situation. The expansion of the range underlines the joint course of AVZ-Group and Smits. Jongenelen: “We continue to invest in sustainable innovations that help our customers concretely.
