Of course, products such as the Pergola SO! and SolarFix solar-powered screens were also present there. Winsol also competed for the R+T Innovation Award with its innovations SolarShutter and SolarFix.
The Pergola Z!P and Z!P CUBE are the new patio covers from Winsol. The Pergola Z!P has a pitched roof with integrated rain drain, the Z!P CUBE has a flat roof and a modern look. Thanks to the range of ambient walls, which includes outdoor curtains, Ambiente slatted wall, steellook glass wall and wooden sliding walls, Winsol pergolas fit any architectural style. The profiles can also be finished in wood look: oak natural, oak light gray and oak dark brown.
Winsol pays great attention to design. The Pergola Z!P has a finish without visible screws, uprights of 90 mm for a larger projection and minimal space between cabinet and wall.
For lighting, Winsol supplies LED strips all around with dimmable hot or controllable hot-cold light. The crossbar not only provides additional stability for large sizes, but can also be equipped with spotlights and LED strips for direct lighting or as white or RGB mood lighting.
The Pergola Z!P can be operated with the Casambi app on smartphone or tablet, or via the illuminated design push buttons in the upright. Furthermore, the Z!P can be equipped with power outlets, USB charging ports, infrared heating, Bluetooth speakers and rain, wind and sun sensors. As with the Pergola SO! there are the option packages Cosy, Chic and Star.
Against low sunlight, a solar volant-plus is available. The two solar panels are integrated into the front frame according to the SolarFix Black Belt principle: a solar panel on the left and right with a black band as an aesthetic connection.
The articulated arms of awnings must perform better and better due to larger sizes and heavier fabrics, among other things. That is why Winsol offers two new articulated arms with a longer life span, higher wind load, better fabric tension and a greater headroom. Optionally, LED lighting can be integrated into the arms - also in retrospect.
The first arm contains twice as many steel cables as Winsol's standard arm. In addition, the cables are self-lubricating, making the folding and unfolding of the screen smoother and without resistance. Also new is the Dyneema Powerband arm. The band's woven plastic has ten times longer life. Both arms are resistant to 6 Beaufort (wind class 3) and applicable to the Winsol awnings Squaro, Linasol, Lumisol and Luno.
Winsol also presented at R+T digital its SolarShutter range, solar-powered front roller shutters with straight casing and two integrated solar panels. Design and performance are based on the Winsol SolarFix screens (Red Dot Award Winner 2020). The SolarShutter operates with two solar panels, a 4 Ah battery with large storage capacity and long life and has four design options:
The SolarShutter is available in five cabinet depths. Thanks to the XSMAX cabinet with smaller motor and different type of roll-up shaft, there is 40% extra roll-up height. Bigger roller shutters in a smaller case, in other words.
SolarFix screens were launched last year and have since become a bestseller in the Winsol range. Thanks to the straight 90 mm case, the SolarFix fits into the day of most homes and therefore does not protrude. The bottom lath disappears completely into the box. The design options are the same as for the SolarShutter.
The Pergola SO! - winner of a Red Dot Design Award in 2019 - is a popular product within the Winsol range and was therefore not to be missed at R+T digital. In 2020, slats in wood look (oak natural, oak light gray and oak dark brown) and new ambient walls have been added to this concept. Thanks to the seven types of closures available, the Pergola SO! fits any architectural style, according to Winsol.
Winsol developed four mood boards and three styles to market its ambience walls. The different styles with their corresponding mood walls - cottage & rural, modern & minimalist, romantic & homely and hospitality - were also on display at the R+T digital.
The SO! Star and SO! Chic are equipped as standard with a motor with automatic solar tracker. The tracker follows the position of the sun and tilts the slats by 1° every 4 minutes. This happens fully automatically, all year round. This solar tracker is offered as an option with the SO! Cosy as an option. Thanks to the automatic control, the end user hardly loses any incident daylight when the pergola is attached to the house.
