Under the recently relaunched Mermet brand, Hunter Douglas screen fabric manufacturers Mermet, Helioscreen, Copaco, and Screen Protectors are joining forces to introduce their new indoor collection at R+T in Stuttgart from February 19 to 23. This indoor collection consists of six lines: Essentials, High Performance, Evolution, Darkening, Decorative, and Basics. This allows customers to discover the perfect range of style and functionality for every space and find their ideal indoor fabric. “We have streamlined our product portfolio to consolidate our expertise and make it clearer and simpler for our customers.” says Marketing Manager Caroline Mermet. “We now offer a very extensive range of indoor sun protection fabrics with around 300 references. No matter what color, density, or width you are looking for, you have come to the right place.”
Two weeks ago, Hunter Douglas—the global market leader in window coverings—made a clear statement to the market by announcing that from now on, it will develop, produce, and distribute all its screen fabrics in Europe under one brand, the completely revamped Mermet.
More than ever, the renewed and strengthened Mermet creates endless solutions with one ultimate goal: to offer the highest level of comfort at every level by developing high-quality sun protection fabrics that provide thermal and optical comfort and optimize energy consumption. These fabrics are durable and easy to maintain.
As announced, the brand new Mermet collection of interior sun protection fabrics will be presented for the first time today at the R+T trade fair in Stuttgart. The collection is divided into six different lines: Essentials, High Performance, Evolution, Darkening, Decorative, and Basics.
The Essentials represent Merme's most highly regarded fabrics for interior sun protection: they are renowned for their unmatched quality, proven performance, and are widely acclaimed as the preferred choice. This collection includes Screen Vision, M-Screen, and Panama Pro fabrics, all woven in different densities to optimally adapt the sun protection to the orientation of the building. “These are our top fabrics for indoor sun protection,” says Marketing Manager Caroline Mermet. “Customers can enjoy unmatched quality, proven performance, and a reputation as the best choice. With these fabrics, end users can transform their interiors in an exquisite way!”
Mermet's most advanced fabrics can be found in the High Performance range, which offer high added value and deliver the best performance in their category in terms of glare control, temperature regulation, or acoustic comfort. Optimal, Panama Chrome+, and Acoustis® 50 all have enhanced properties and each contribute in a unique way to thermal and visual comfort. “Whether you are creating a new space or renovating an existing one, these high-quality fabrics allow you to add unparalleled value to your interior and set a new standard for outstanding performance.” says Ann Van Neer, Interior Product Manager.

With the Darkening range, Mermet offers a wide selection of custom fabrics to optimize both blackout and privacy in a room. This versatile range offers adaptable solutions and provides the perfect blend of functionality and style. This range includes Kibo, Flocké, Karellis, Opac Plain, and Ruka.
In addition to more functional technical textiles, Mermet is also introducing a highly decorative range. This range is designed to decorate interiors with fabrics featuring unique designs. They add personality and create an exclusive atmosphere that reflects the end user's distinctive style.

Mermet also offers a Basic range to appeal to a very price-conscious audience. This includes Natté PES in four densities and Shadow 24. These fabrics are designed to enhance interiors with simple, cost-effective solutions that offer reliable performance. Thanks to its high fire resistance, Shadow 24 is also suitable for high-speed trains.
