The new year is off to a good start for SunCircle. This year, the awning manufacturer is putting even more effort into the cooperation with its dealers that started in 2023. "We can offer support in many areas and unburden our dealers," says co-owner Johan van Huigenbos.
SunCircle has more than 170 dealers, but so began in 2023 with its first franchise in Nieuwegein. "We now have a year on it and are in talks with a dealer who wants bigger. We can offer him the support of a manufacturer so he can focus entirely on business." Measurements will soon be taken by the franchisee himself, but SunCircle will be responsible for the installation of screens, drop awnings, articulated blinds, pergola awnings and shutters.
A second and third store have since been added. One of these is located in Amstelveen. "This store is now run by the previous owners," says Van Huigenbos. "Acquisition by a new entrepreneur often takes time, but we were able to link the other company - from Almelo - right away to a flooring company that was looking to expand. These entrepreneurs already offered the service of realizing a completely new floor including floor heating within one week. Sun protection was a welcome addition for them. AND the name Blancozon Almelo will be retained!"
At Polyclose, SunCircle showed a new screen, based on the Somfy Solar concept. "We already have a solar screen in our range, with solar technology from Brel. Now there is also the variant based on Somfy technology. The advantage of this variant is that it has a separate battery. Installation is simple and the battery is easy to replace. With Brel's solar technology, the battery is inside the motor, making the system compact and economical. So now there really is something to choose from!"
"The new screen features a new, patented type of guide, and has a tighter finish. 2023 was an excellent year for us. With the new products and other developments on the horizon, we hope for a positive 2024," Van Huigenbos concluded.
