“Complementing the existing and proven successful zipscreen 100, the zipscreen 125 has the same, beautiful design as the 100,” said Robert Bosch. “The now long-standing zipscreen 100 goes up to a width of 3.80 m and a height of 2.60 m or with a width of 3.60 m to a height of 3.60 m. The zipscreen 125 can be supplied up to a maximum of 4.40 m wide by 4.0 m high.”
These zipscreens, which Rainbowsol developed itself and also has pressed in-house, have a rounded design case of 100 or 125 mm. According to Bosch, the distinct lines of the cabinet make it an aesthetically pleasing and beautifully finished product with a look all its own. "Once the screen is assembled, the sturdy aluminum hood supports are finished off with beautifully designed screwless cover caps, also cast from high-quality aluminum."
"The zipscreens - obviously intended for the larger surfaces - are mounted on elegant guides that can be mounted either through the chamber or using the usual snap blocks. These guides are only 40 mm wide, which is only 10 mm wider than standard guides. The depth, at 28 mm, is the same as that of the standard slides, which keeps the overall look elegant. For a small additional cost, the zipscreens can be equipped with two-piece, so-called click guides."
Somfy motors were chosen for the drives, standard with switches and at extra cost in RTS or IO versions. Rainbowsol's zipscreens, except in the Limited Edition version, are available in technical silver, white and cream white and optionally in any RAL color.”
For both standard screens and zipscreens, Rainbowsol has an infill profile that can be used to easily and aesthetically achieve the required lead.
In addition to technical silver, white and cream white, Rainbowsol's zipscreens are also available - and at no extra cost - in the Limited Edition version. In this version, the screens are finished in the now familiar colors anthracite gray structure, Stargrey structure (RAL 9007) and Sparkling Black structure.
In addition to the zipscreens in the Limited Edition version, the Screen-85 is also available in the Limited Edition version. Also for this screen variant, it can be finished in the new textured paint finish Sparkling Black at no additional charge.
As an extension of the existing range, Rainbowsol has developed a new screen that is part of the all-new Q-series that, in addition to this ZIP screen, also includes a drop screen and two articulated screens. “The zipscreen Q-100 is a very modern and contemporary, sleekly designed screen that is of course also available as standard in the same colors as the zipscreen 100 and 125,” says Robert Bosch. “This zipscreen Q-100 can be personalized with an attractive aluminum trim in stainless steel and wood look, among other colors.” The screen is powered and controlled with Somfy.
Although the available motors and ditto - integrated or not - battery packs are not yet suitable for all versions of the (zip) screens, Rainbowsol has already delivered a number of projects with solar motors, Bosch says. “Should a dealer be interested, he or she can submit an application upon request - after assessing the suitability of the requested combination.”
