Luxaflex®: The Marquise is a Marquise-In

With the aluminum awning, even the pop rivets are color-matched for the finest finish and cast parts are additionally treated to prevent oxidation.”

In the past, all awnings were removed from the facades in the fall by the local awning supplier and cleaned, repaired and painted if necessary, and then stored. In the spring they were then put back in place and people could once again enjoy beautiful awnings that not only kept out the sun and heat, but also looked neat again. 

These days, this rarely happens, but of course people want their awnings to last and stay looking great. This is where Luxaflex® Outdoor's patented Awning-In provides relief. If an awning is left unprotected on the façade during autumn and winter, green deposits can form on it over time. Cleaning with a pressure washer may clean the fabric, but it can also remove the protective layer. The Awning-In is a simple solution. It is a cover made to the size of an awning with the right fit, usually made of the same fabric used on the awning. The Awning-In can easily be folded around the awning and closed and fixed with push buttons. An awning is thus easily protected from the weather.
