As a leading confectioner, Guillaume Janssen has been stocking the collections of the leading European suppliers of awning fabrics for over forty years. In addition, last year the company also launched its own acrylic fabric collection. "Our role as an independent cloth confectioner is now further strengthened by the introduction of our own screen cloth collection," says employee Ruben de Jong.
At the R+T in Stuttgart, the new screen cloth collection - marketed under the name GJ-Solar Screen Collection - was presented to the general public for the first time. "This high-quality cloth is available in two different versions, namely as Sergé cloth and as Soltis Veozip cloth," says Ruben. "The Sergé cloth is available in different RAL colors. Thanks to the high-quality Smart Yarn Technology used, this cloth shows less fraying when cut and is also stronger.
"Thanks to its high transparency and the addition of an acrylic yarn, Soltis Veozip is the ideal fabric for enjoying the view outside," Ruben believes. "This fabric is optimized for use in zipscreens. With these new screen collections - as with the acrylic fabric collection introduced last year - we are responding to increasing customer demand to offer them a suitable alternative."
In the coming years, Guillaume Janssen plans to raise his profile even more emphatically with his independent ready-to-wear atelier. "For example, as part of the GJ-Solar Pro Collection, we now also have the GJ-Grande Collection in our offering," Ruben explains. "This collection offers 24 timeless color fabrics and is available in an extra large roll width. This makes this collection ideally suited for drop-screens and Marisolettes."
Since 2000, Guillaume Janssen has established its name on the European and international market as a manufacturer of exceptional sun protection systems, Ruben believes. "By expanding with our own collections, we are now also able to provide the entire awning industry with the right type of fabric. We would therefore like to invite everyone to come see our new collections or take a look at our updated website gjbv.nl.
