Luxaflex®: ‘Smart Choice NXT and Nova Shade are the smart choices!’

“In 2022, Luxaflex® Outdoor says goodbye to the popular entry-level Smart Choice screen and welcomes the Smart Choice NXT: a competitively priced, yet functional patio awning. This screen is based on the Smart Choice, but improved and further developed based on dealer feedback.”

“The subtle shape of the cassette and front frame make the Smart Choice NXT suitable for any type of home. This screen comes into its own not only over a terrace, but also on balconies or as an awning for large windows. This is due to the cleverly designed, fully enclosed cassette and the possibility of easy wall and ceiling mounting.”

Mounting convenience

The new mounting bracket allows for easy mounting of the Smart Choice NXT, according to Silvia Jagtenberg. “The new bracket offers more mounting convenience due to greater room to move during mounting. The multifunctional mounting brackets allow the switch between ceiling and wall mounting. A tilt angle of 6 to 66 degrees for wall mounting and 18 to 66 degrees for ceiling mounting is also possible. Thanks to the side cover of the mounting bracket, the finish is optimal.”

The new Nova Shade

Also new to Luxaflex®“s range is the Nova Shade screen introduced in 2021. ”We proudly present this new patio screen because it is worth mentioning,“ says Silvia Jagtenberg. ”This screen has universal supports for both wall and ceiling mounting. They offer several inches of clearance to accommodate unevenness of the wall when mounted. The fabric roll is fully supported by a cloth shell. This ensures excellent fabric behavior and allows a screen width of up to 600 cm and a projection of 400 cm."

The Nova Shade can be equipped with the latest integrated LED lighting in the arms or in the arms as well as the front frame. When wall mounted, this option is always in combination with a cover - also known as a rain hood - under which the electrics and IO dimmer are concealed.
