SUYS: 'An established company that does not rest on its laurels'

The Belgian family business SUYS, formerly Building Shutters, is 50 years old! This has been celebrated extensively in recent months, including a complete rebranding. At the R+T in Stuttgart, a number of innovations were unveiled. 

Femke Desmet explains. "Just like at Polyclose, at R+T we showed the Lockscreen® SKY, an inclined screen with a traditional housing. As the name suggests, this screen also works with Lockscreen® technology, which guarantees a sleek and pure design. The SKY completes our Lockscreen® range." 

Even in an established product like roller shutters, developments continue to unwind. Minimalist design is also the standard for this product group. Specifically for modern building styles, where the facade is finished in stucco, SUYS presented the new Minirol® INTEGRATED. "For this unique roller shutter box, an L-profile was developed, against which the stucco layer of the exterior facade is applied. The shutter box is thus seamlessly integrated, but remains accessible for revision via a flap at the bottom."
