Since March 2024, Brustor offers a brand new slat roof: we are talking about the B160XL. This slat roof is an entry-level model that should be more accessible to consumers with a more limited budget who are still looking for a stylish patio enclosure that suits them.
The B160XL is the successor to the B150(XL). This extremely versatile canopy provides the perfect base for year-round outdoor enjoyment and has a slim and elegant design, with no visible screws or visible patio fixings. The canopy could count on many positive reactions from professionals during Polyclose 2024 and R+T 2024.
Sales manager for the Benelux Maxim Devos explains the strengths of the new product: "The B160XL is the entry-level model within our extensive range of slat roofs. With this canopy we offer an accessible slat roof with the widely acclaimed Brustor look and feel, without compromising on quality and style. Thanks to the kit-free connected gutter system, rainwater is drained easily. Furthermore, the canopy offers the latest electronics and the motor is discreetly integrated. Consideration has also been given to simplified and silicone-free assembly."
The new slat roof has maximum dimensions of 6 by 4.5 meters and can be installed either as an addition or free-standing canopy. Or, it can be built into an existing structure. The B160XL is therefore very similar to the popular B200(XL), but has one major difference. "With this new canopy, screens can only be provided in surface-mounted form. Many consumers are looking for a stylish accessible canopy without built-in screens. The B160XL is the perfect solution for that. If consumers do want a canopy with integrated ZIP screens, the B200(XL) is usually the better choice," explains Devos.
"Of course, this new canopy is also adaptable to the wishes and needs of the end user. That is the strength of Brustor. The canopy can be linked lengthwise, allowing a much larger area to be provided with shade. There is also a wide range of RAL colors to choose from in order to match the canopy to the desired style," says Devos.
"In addition, consumers can choose slats in a warm wood look. In terms of lighting options, they can choose both LED slats, LED spotlights in the frame and up/down lighting on the gutter (dimmable white or RGB). A patio heater is also among the options. Is there a need for extra wind protection or extra privacy? Then surface-mounted screens or stylish wooden sliding walls are an option."
"We want to meet the needs of consumers with this new model. We are very satisfied with this slatted roof and notice a lot of enthusiasm from the dealer network. We are therefore very pleased to present the B160XL to the general public," said Maxim Devos.
