Gibus’s ‘all-glass’ sliding system is now available in an even more exclusive and advanced version, combining high technical performance, maximum ease of use, and design versatility thanks to new technologies, convenient accessories, and additional customization options.

In the increasingly fruitful dialogue between architecture and landscape, transparency is becoming a design material that can shape space and enhance its perception, lightness, and quality. In this scenario, glass walls take on an even more central role and become active elements of visual and functional connection.

In line with this trend, Gibus—one of Europe’s leading players in outdoor design—is further evolving its exclusive ‘all-glass’ sliding system, GLISSE, by enhancing it with new technologies, accessories, and aesthetic options that enhance its performance, user experience, and versatility while maintaining the formal purity that defines it.

Ideal for Gibus pergolas, as well as for porches and patios, GLISSE stands out due to the complete absence of peripheral aluminum profiles—a distinctive feature that creates visual continuity and a sense of lightness, allowing natural light to take center stage in the space.

The system features panels made of monolithic tempered glass that slide along parallel tracks, offering versatile configurations that can be adapted to residential, hospitality, and commercial settings. Specifically, GLISSE is available with 10 mm glass for glass walls up to 2.70 meters and 12 mm glass for structures between 2.70 and 3.00 meters. The design versatility of this model is reflected in the various configurations with 2, 3, 4, or 5 tracks and up to 10 panels, in the option for side or center opening, and in various dimensions that can also be adapted to large openings. For example, in the 5-panel version with side opening, GLISSE can reach a width of 7.20 meters, while the central configuration with 10 panels and 5 tracks can span up to 14 meters—an elegant and technically advanced solution for both residential and hospitality use.

The new system developed by Gibus features an advanced bottom rail profile, available in configurations ranging from two to five tracks, designed with special water drainage to ensure greater efficiency and long-term durability. Also particularly noteworthy is the new drive system, which makes the movement of the panels even smoother, more uniform, and quieter, further enhancing the comfort and efficiency of the glass wall.

As a result of more than 40 years of industry expertise, focused on the ongoing quest for ever-better solutions that meet people’s needs, GLISSE is now also available with a handy extra: comfortable threshold rails made of anodized aluminum, available for both indoor and outdoor use, with a height of 22 mm, designed to easily bridge the bottom rail and improve accessibility to spaces. This feature is particularly relevant in hospitality settings but is also increasingly appreciated in residential environments.

Finally, the innovations also include aesthetic customization. The glass panels are available in several finishes—satin, mirrored, extra-clear, smoky gray, and transparent—to ensure optimal integration into any setting.
