On the edge of a green residential neighborhood, residents realized their dream home: sleekly designed, spacious and with lots of glass. The architect was given one clear precondition: the interior must remain comfortable in every season, without compromising the appearance of the facade.
The system is fixed directly to the facade, with a guide of only 50 mm sight width. Thus, the facade appearance remains calm and the blinds visually match the window profiles. Operation is linked to automatic control based on sunlight and temperature, tailored to the occupants' daily use.
Installation was handled by Roma dealer Ambiance Dekazon from Apeldoorn. Through good coordination with the contractor and tight preparation, the system could be incorporated into the facade design without any additional modifications.

This project demonstrates how solar shading can be incorporated from the design phase as an integral part of the façade construction. By carefully incorporating the system, the lines of the design remain intact and the indoor climate is actively supported.
