In utility buildings, the sun blinds are usually operated (fully) automatically by a project controller. Because shading is increasingly part of a building management system, its (project) control raises many issues. It is a complex matter, which in many cases has ICT-related challenges. This requires knowledge that is often not present among sun protection companies, building managers or parties working on the envelope of a building.
To assist these parties, Driekleur-Besturingen established. "We have the expertise to advise on project controls for blinds and then install, set up and manage them," says Business Manager Jan Smit of Three-Color Controls. "We don't do that under our own name, but under the banner of the company that hires us." Driekleur-Besturingen works with certified E-installers and mechanics who have their roots in the blinds industry. By working well together, the separation between the disciplines of electrical, IT and blinds engineering is eliminated.
Many failures can be prevented by smart remote management. Three-Color Controls can provide projects via monitor and manage the Cloud. In this way, end-user complaints can be prevented or quickly resolved and damage to sun protection devices can be reduced.
Three-Color Controls speaks the language of the building manager and the installer. "Working together quickly and efficiently saves costs and prevents annoyance and delay," Smit said. Meanwhile, several awning manufacturers have found their way to Driekleur-Besturingen. Fine partnerships have already been established with Sunmaster Nederland BV and Roma Benelux. "Parties who are interested in what Driekleur-Besturingen can do for their company or building, please contact us," Smit concludes.
