Within the patio cover range, Harol distinguishes between slat roofs, patios and pergolas. Harol has three - or actually five - slat roofs in its range. They are the Opera, the Vision and the Brera, which comes in three variants, namely Basic, Superior and Premium. “The advantages of a slat roof are sunlight regulation and protection from UV light, the ability to simultaneously block out the sun while providing ventilation and rain protection when a slat roof is closed. Control of the roof can be by rain sensor or remote control.
The Patio collection includes the Nomo, Rialto, Level and Fusion roofs. The first two are fully horizontal folding roof systems. Thanks to curved fabric profiles, rainwater drains intelligently. These roofs come in semi-detached and freestanding versions. The Level and the Fusion are semi-detached roofs for construction against the facade. They have a sloped roof with a pitch between 9.5 and 15°. They have a patented anti-drip system, where the fabric is pushed up at the edges, preventing water from dripping off. This anti-drip system is standard with tight fabric suspension.
The folding roof of the Patio models is equipped as standard with a rainproof PVC fabric that can be color-coordinated with the facade. The end-user can choose between a slightly translucent or a completely blackout folding fabric or a sun protection fabric. The standard PVC cloths are 100% waterproof, treated against mold and self-extinguishing.
In this Terrace Covers Theme, Harol draws extra attention to its Versuz and AIR terrace covers from the Pergola collection.
Harol describes its Versuz as an ‘innovative and elegant eye-catcher with a minimalist design’. This patio cover has a very compact, closed box of barely 17.5 cm in which the fabric rolls up, narrow foot posts only 6.5 cm wide, slim guides and countersunk screws.
Water drainage is integrated into the bottom rail. Lighting by means of an LED strip - which provides appropriate lighting both when the screen is open and closed - is optional. The fabric is fixed using zip technology and is therefore wind-resistant and always taut. With a fabric width of up to 6 m, 25 m2 of terrace can be provided with shade.
The AIR has a maximum span of 6 x 5 m and has a more robust design. The canopy can be closed all around with vertical screens and spike frames to protect the terrace from sun, wind and rain, as well as from prying eyes. If the screens are rolled up in the enclosure, the user actually enjoys maximum natural daylight and views of the garden and surroundings. The AIR thus offers the possibility of enjoying the garden and terrace almost all year round.
For canopies, Harol can supply a number of accessories. Screens and sliding glass walls to close off the sides are designed to keep out the weather or a low sun, keep the heat in or keep out privacy. Dimmable LED lighting (white LEDs or RGB) and/or the Storelight heating element increase the possibilities for use. and provide more atmosphere.
