Brustor looks ahead to Polyclose 2026: new fabric roof system and carport set the tone

After a successful participation in Polyclose 2024 and a successful 2025, Brustor is once again ready for Polyclose 2026. The Belgian manufacturer of sun protection and patio covers remains a fixture in the sector and continues its tradition of innovation with a number of striking new additions to its range.

Strong year for B129 – sun protection under glass conquers the market

For Brustor, 2025 was a year of growth, mainly thanks to the B129 sun protection system for glass structures. This product gained significant ground in both the residential market and among project developers. “The B129 combines elegance with performance,” says Nico Roose, Sales Director Netherlands and D-A-CH. “It is an ideal solution for verandas/conservatories and canopies with glass roofs: discreet integration, durability because the fabric is protected against moisture and dirt, and top performance against solar heat. We have seen sales rise sharply this year, which proves that the market is attaching increasing importance to comfort and aesthetics.”

New product group: carports with design and functionality

Just before Polyclose 2026, Brustor introduced a completely new product group: the Brustor carport. With this expansion, Brustor is taking an important step towards total solutions for outdoor living. The carport is not only a shelter for vehicles, but also a tailor-made design statement that blends harmoniously with modern architecture. “Our carport combines sleek aluminum design with smart functionality,” explains Roose. “It has the same quality standard as our canopies, but in a new application. We have high expectations for this product, both for residential customers and for project-based applications.”

Completely new canvas roof system premieres

Brustor keeps the excitement going with a mysterious eye-catcher at its stand. Visitors will be able to discover a completely new fabric roof system for patio covers. Although the company cannot reveal anything yet, the message is clear: Brustor continues to innovate within the Outdoor Living segment. “Anyone visiting Polyclose will see that we are taking a new direction,” says Roose with a smile. “We remain true to our core values – quality, design, and comfort – but are adding a fresh dose of innovation.”

Tiltable sliding walls: innovation in motion

Another new feature is the introduction of sliding walls with tiltable slats. Until now, the slats were fixed, but from now on they can be tilted according to the position of the sun. This makes the outdoor space even more flexible and comfortable. “This innovation allows our customers to tailor their experience under their patio cover even better to the time of day,” says Roose. “It's a logical step in our vision of outdoor living: comfort that adapts to you, not the other way around.”

Visitors to the trade fair can once again expect an inspiring mix of patio covers and folding arm awnings. Brustor emphasizes atmosphere, experience, and versatility. “For us, Polyclose is the meeting place par excellence,” concludes Roose. “We can talk to distributors, architects, and installers, and immediately show them what we have to offer.
