Following the introduction of its ScreenamaX Zip Screen, specialist Soprofen expands its offering with the ScreenAccess. The ScreenAccess is available in different versions specifically developed to offer along one side a quality Zip Screen to the private end customer and along the other side a robust and easy to install Zip Screen to equip large construction sites with it. In all configurations, the ScreenAccess offers the same excellent performance combined with a modern, compact design for an even more manageable budget.

In response to the demand for large outdoor awnings combined with the smallest possible case and thinnest possible guides, Soprofen's R&D department had previously developed the ultra-compact and extra-wide ScreenamaX XXL Zip Screen. Given the strong growth of the market for Zip Screens, the sun protection specialist now wants to expand and democratize its offering to best meet the needs of both consumers and professionals. Given the increase in material prices (+20% in five years), the average consumer, and certainly the starter in the housing market, is looking for efficient and affordable products, while the professional wants to serve all market segments (from entry-level to high-end) with reliable, robust and easy-to-install products. In addition, in larger construction projects (schools, companies, apartment blocks, etc.), we see that people are also increasingly looking for solutions to prevent overheating in an affordable and efficient way.

The new ScreenAccess meets all the contemporary features that a modern solar protection system should have, perfect light transmission, excellent heat protection, a long lifespan, optimal outward visibility, a wide choice of shapes, colors and motorizations, but all at a lower price. “Our new Zip Screen is about 20% cheaper,” says Grégory Albert, Market Manager Solar Protection and Window Products at Soprofen.
The new ScreenAccess Zip Screen is offered in a single case size: 105 mm. It is available in two versions, folded aluminum or extruded aluminum, in a square or beveled design, with a wide choice of guides and also an optional snap-in drop-out profile for easy forward positioning of the guide.
“As standard, you can choose from sixteen colors for the fabric and eight basic colors for cabinet, guides and bottom lath,” says Gregory Albert. But again, it is possible to request a different RAL color at an additional cost (about €100, - excl. VAT per screen). The ScreenAccess has a maximum width of 4.50 m and a maximum height of 3.50 m. It is compatible with the most common applications thanks to a wide range of motors and controls.

In addition to wired or radio-controlled motorization, the ScreenAccess also runs on solar energy thanks to a discreet and powerful solar panel that provides power to a battery integrated into the cabinet. Installation is thus easy without working inside the house and without pulling additional wiring. The autonomy of the battery without recharging is 45 days at one cycle per day. The rolling up and unrolling of the fabric is optimized thanks to the wings on the guides, this contributes to the rigidity and longevity of the assembly. It is partly for this reason that the zipscreen (including motor, battery and panel) has a five-year warranty

With its robust extruded aluminum construction, sleek aesthetics, reliable operation and great adaptability and ease of installation, the new ScreenAccess Zip Screen does not compromise on quality and performance. All at a competitive price, within everyone's reach. Top quality, clever design, wide choice of customization and highly competitive prices. Exactly what the market needs.
