For the shading industry, Plastex offers the following solutions:

1. 7SECOND®

An aluminum side guide designed for zipscreen applications, consisting of a main element and an innovative fastening profile. This solution eliminates the need for additional operations or screws thanks to a damping clip made of thermoplastic material, which ensures fast and secure fastening. Ease of use is further guaranteed by a removal system with a simple push and pull movement. "With 7SECOND® we want to offer installers an intuitive and efficient solution that saves time and effort," Lombardini explains.

2. CLIPZIP®

A system of punched guides made of thermoplastic material designed to ensure perfect fabric tension regardless of weather conditions. The thermoplastic clips/springs, alternating on both sides in the aluminum guides, ensure even tension over time and contribute to the aesthetics of zipscreens. Available in functional colors such as green and dark gray, the product includes labels with references for clear identification.

3. AVIASTA® and BOBA+®.

An extruded profile made of thermoplastic elastomer, available in two variants: anchor- or hook-shaped. This solution combines functionality and aesthetics and allows secure attachment of the fabric to roll-up tube and bottom rail. The special feature of these profiles is that the fabric can be assembled and disassembled without additional tools, making them ideal for zipscreen and articulated-arm applications. "This innovation allows our customers to work more efficiently while ensuring the aesthetic quality of their installations," Lombardini adds.

Plastex, as a regular partner of Serge Ferrari, also participated in Serge Ferrari's Soltis Tour 2024/25. During this tour, the company presented all its products for the solar shading market to system manufacturers and installers. The tour reached more than 9,000 installers and experts, presenting innovative solar shading solutions in a fully immersive experience.

For Plastex, the Soltis Tour was a unique opportunity to foster dialogue among industry leaders and work toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced future. "The Soltis Tour is not just another commercial event, it is a platform where new ideas and partnerships emerge, and we are proud to be part of it," Lombardini concludes. "The enthusiastic reactions of the participants, the lively presentations and the growing interest in innovative solutions confirm the success of this initiative. Thanks to our unique contribution, we managed to attract the attention of professionals from various fields and show how technology and sustainability can go hand in hand."
