The industrial look has been a trend in architecture and interior design for some time now. SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH of Wenden, east of Cologne, Germany, is responding with a steellook version of its tried-and-tested SF 20 glass wall system, which has already been featured several times in Z&R columns. In terms of design and appearance, the SF 20 in steellook is inspired by the industrially manufactured (factory) windows of the past.
Slim vertical and horizontal profiles can be applied to the glass elements after the sliding wall has been installed, exactly as the end user wishes. Thus, the glass wall system is optically adapted completely to the design wishes of the end users. The end user can thus optimally match the SF 20 system in steellok to the interior and to the light in the room in which it is used.
According to SUNFLEX, the optical change of the SF 20 in steellook is in no way at the expense of technology and functionality. The steellook version of the SF 20 also features the cleaning function so that the glass elements, even where they overlap, can be easily cleaned. Other technical aspects, such as the smooth-running and low-maintenance wheels, are also the same as in the regular version of the SF 20, according to SUNFLEX.
