FARINA: Self-supporting glass canopy with maximum transparency

With FARINA, G-Fittings is expanding its line of glass canopies with a modern, self-supporting solution for the entrances of residential and commercial buildings. The canopy provides protection from the elements while giving the facade a sleek, transparent, and timeless look. 

The system stands out for its self-supporting construction without tie rods. The load is fully supported by the wall-connection profile, eliminating the need for visible supports. This results in a minimalist design with maximum transparency. 

FARINA is designed for high loads of up to 9.81 kN/m² and is available with various cantilevers, depending on the glass thickness. With glass thicknesses of 25.52 mm, cantilevers of up to 1,600 mm are possible in combination with SentryGlas®. Since no glass cutouts are required, planning, production, and installation are significantly simplified. 

The awning is available in various finishes, including raw, matte silver anodized, white RAL 9010, deep black RAL 9005, and optionally in other RAL colors. Profiles can be supplied in lengths up to 6,000 mm and can be cut to size upon request. 

Thanks to the modular design, multiple profiles can be placed one after another, making it easy to create even long glass facades and facade sections. Installation is done using a clamping profile with concealed fasteners. After aligning the glass, aluminum cover caps are installed so that no screw heads are visible. 

FARINA can be optionally equipped with integrated LED lighting, with the cable routing discreetly concealed within the profile.
