SUNFLEX presents the SF300 patio canopy

Stylish, modern and elegant thanks to the cubic design

To offer more variety in patio design, SUNFLEX Aluminiumsysteme GmbH of Wenden-Gerlingen, Germany, has developed the SF300 patio cover. It impresses with its cubist design, with which it adapts particularly well to modern, linear building styles. 

With a roof pitch of only 2° and internal static, the SF300 has only a very slight slope. However, this is sufficient for targeted drainage of rainwater. Concealed downspouts and different design variants of the drainage system ensure reliable drainage of the roof. 

The slightly sloping roof surface is discreetly hidden behind the 300 mm high, cubistically designed roof edge all around and therefore not visible from the outside. It gives the terrace roofing SF300 a flat and elegant appearance. 

"Like all of our patio covers, the framework of the SF300 is made entirely of aluminum," says SUNFLEX general manager Dennis Schneider. "The material properties make this canopy extremely weather-resistant and durable. If statistically necessary - for example, in snowy areas - the profiles can be reinforced with steel, allowing the canopy to handle a snow load of more than 350 kg per m2." 

The design of the SF300 canopy was well thought out at SUNFLEX. This is evident, for example, from the fact that a roof overhang with drip edge is provided all around. This fits perfectly with the simple yet elegant design of the roof. The main purpose of the overhang is to prevent soiling of any surrounding glass walls or vertical blinds. 

Dimensions, color, equipment and technical details of the SF300 can be chosen individually by the end customer. This gives the patio covering the appearance, comfort and functionality desired by the end users. Moreover, in terms of design, it can be adapted to the home or building with which it is combined. Details, such as the absence of visible screw connections, complete the picture. 

The integrated lighting channel provides space for LED spotlights, which provide a pleasant atmosphere even when it gets dim or dark under the canopy. "And those who combine the SF300 patio canopy with our sliding systems or sliding-turn systems are optimally protected even in rain and strong winds," Dennis Schneider concludes. "The result is a comfortable outdoor living space for all seasons!"
