Pallazzo has been active in outdoor living for over 30 years with its patio covers and slatted roofs based on slender yet robust aluminum profiles. They constantly listen to the market in order to further expand and optimize their range. The most recent innovations are the cubic canopy XLR and the Louvante sliding wall with rotatable aluminum slats.
Pallazzo's product portfolio includes the 150 SL, XL and XL AVENTA patio covers. "Our showpieces are actually the LOUNGE® slat roof with 135° rotatable slats and the cubic glass canopy SQOPE®, whose roof beams are integrated into the structure and not visible from the outside," states general manager Erwin Dujardin. "Our closeness to the market enables us to respond quickly and flexibly to requests. We carry out as much as possible in-house, resulting in short lines of communication: development, engineering and production, as well as high quality powder coating thanks to an ultra-modern paint shop."

Pallazzo continues to invest in the expansion and optimization of its range. A great example is the new canopy XLR. "We were increasingly asked for a cheaper alternative to our popular SQOPE®, but with the well-known Pallazzo quality," indicates product manager Michael Pijnenborgh. "For the XLR, we based ourselves on the proven concept of the Pallazzo XL. The rock-solid construction and reinforced gutter allow us to create cubic canopies with spans up to 6 m wide and 4 m deep, with only two uprights. The double-walled gutter allows sliding walls to be aesthetically integrated. Moreover, thanks to the clever integration of the sliding rail into the structure, the austere character is retained. So the difference is in the details, especially also in the finishing. For example, the sides of the channel are equipped with an elegant end plate, so that not a single screw is visible."

Pallazzo also developed several elements to personalize canopies, provide weather protection and ensure privacy. Consider the windproof Flowzz® screen, the Invigo Pro® sliding glass wall and the Pareda® sidewall. "Our most recent innovation was introduced in early 2025. The Louvante® is a designer aluminum sliding wall with rotatable horizontal slats, available in all standard colors but also in a wood look," explains research & development officer Wietse de Boer. "With one simple manual operation one can regulate light incidence and view. Thanks to an automatic underguidance system, we help installation teams to cope with unevenness and slopes of up to 50 mm."

Pallazzo is also developing a new carport concept, which should be available by the end of this year. "This modular system, available as a freestanding unit or for gable attachment, is suitable for large sizes and also linkable. Furthermore, attention is paid to quick and easy assembly with almost exclusively mechanical connections. The roof will initially feature sandwich panels, but later a glass roof will also be possible," concludes Erwin Dujardin. "Together with some other leading manufacturers, we were incidentally involved in the development of a new NEN standard, which should give installers and consumers the assurance that they are working with a quality brand and not a manufacturer who flouts all the rules. An important step to take the patio cover market to an even higher level."
