Nijs Zonwering and Vera Venray have decided to join forces

We are proud to tell you that Nijs Zonwering and Vera Venray have decided to join forces. Together accounting for more than 110 years of sun protection experience.

With no family succession, we started looking for a possible takeover candidate to ensure the future of Nijs Zonwering and its employees. After some good discussions with Vera, the cultures of both companies turned out to be an excellent match. Both parties strive for a high level of service and quality and for both the customer is central.

Vera Venray was taken over more than 3 years ago by Michèl Willemse, an enthusiastic entrepreneur who has earned his spurs in the industry and with whom we have worked in various capacities for more than 25 years. In the meantime Vera has grown and modernized considerably. Team Vera will help us take the same step to become more future-proof and to further expand Nijs Zonwering. This increase in scale will help us both to make important investments more easily, to exchange knowledge and to offer our employees more opportunities for growth and development.

In the new partnership, we deepen our core values: service, quality and customer focus.

Peter Meuwissen will continue to work at Nijs for at least several more years to make the transition as smooth as possible and to transfer his knowledge.
