With articulated and drop-down blinds, it's really the same as with awnings, which are discussed elsewhere in this Z&R: it's fine as it is. Don't do too much more to it. After all, there is not that much left to improve, at most in terms of technical details: better and more durable articulated arms, new control options, things like wind protection or automatic closing in the rain. That sort of thing, but in terms of functionality there is little to improve. The current articulated and drop awnings are fine the way they are.
A number of companies therefore give an overview of their product range in this theme and do not use it to come up with something totally new. AVZ-Group, Weinor and Verano® are examples of this. If there is news, it often concerns a new model. Luxaflex® comes with the Nova Shade, Brustor with the B50S and German awning manufacturer markilux the MX-2.
The MX-2 is a screen that stands out particularly for its attractive design. It exudes "something," like a BMW, Mercedes or Audi. German. Markilux also has another design feature. Because the company is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, it is offering all its awnings - except one - in the five design colors High Five at no extra cost.
Then if it can hardly get any better, you can also come up with something new by taking something off. Also an option. That is what Wilms is doing with its 700XL. The screen was deliberately marketed as high end last year, with integrated LED lighting, but Wilms now offers it without LED lighting: the 700X. All other advantages of the screen have remained, but the entry level is now slightly lower.
