MARKILUX INTRODUCES NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY

'TIMELESS, MODERN AND EXPRESSIVE'

In recent years, markilux has gone through a strong change in its external appearance. This process has culminated in a modified corporate design with a new logo that will be used from February 2 of this year. According to markilux, it stands for the brand promise to produce high-quality designer screens "Made in Germany" and should reflect a modern and successful company.

"We live in a time of great change," observes Christiane Berning, Head of Marketing and Business Development at markilux. "The world is becoming more digital and values are changing, just like consumer behavior. What used to stay the same for long periods of time is now being renewed in an ongoing process to keep pace with rapid change. This principle naturally also applies to sun protection manufacturer markilux. This is why we have developed internally and renewed our external appearance in recent years. Growth and strengthening of the brand are important goals in this regard."

New wordmark emphasizes brand promise

According to Christiane Berning, that also includes a modern brand design. "With our new, timeless and minimalist wordmark, we want to show that we are successful, modern and moving with the times. The typography of the logo, reduced to the essentials, echoes familiar shapes from the world of markilux, such as the red arc shapes in the showrooms or form elements of our products. The clear logo also represents the brand promise to produce high-quality designer screens 'Made in Germany' and provide excellent service."

markilux wants to build further

Before markilux began developing a new corporate identity, the company had its brand awareness surveyed domestically. "This showed that we need to further strengthen our position in the market and anchor markilux as a premium brand for designer screens in customers' consciousness," Christiane Berning said. In addition, markilux wants to clearly distinguish itself visually from the competition with the new corporate design so that consumers can no longer ignore markilux. "With the high standards we set in terms of quality, technology, material, appearance and service, we want to motivate the people who buy our screens to become brand ambassadors for markilux. After all, product quality and the good service of our qualified dealers are decisive motives in recommendation marketing. The way markilux presents itself also contributes to this, hence also the new corporate identity and the other growth objectives for the coming years."
