As part of the INTERGASTRA, the special exhibition OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING. will be organized. The second edition of this exhibition presents to the hospitality industry the different forms of overhangs and shading that are possible.

On display are such things as slatted and glass roofs, pergola roofs and awnings, as well as all the accessories that go with them. Visitors will find the presentation OUTDOOR. AMBIENT. LIVING. in the Rothaus Park of Messe Stuttgart, located between halls 5 and 7 and in halls 6, 8 and 10 of the trade fair complex. Companies presenting include Bahama GmbH, CARAVITA GmbH, Corradi Srl, LEINER GmbH, markilux GmbH & Co. KG, WAREMA Renkhoff SE and weinor GmbH & Co. KG. "A great advantage of this presentation is that we can present our products outdoors," believes Weinor managing director Thilo Weiermann. "This allows our visitors to experience the products in a realistic setting and optimally evaluate features such as functionality, quality and design." Bahama GmbH managing director Volker Schröder also welcomes the format of OUTDOOR. AMBIENT. LIVING. "What better way to demonstrate the specific features of a large parasol than under the bare sky, which can be blue, but sometimes also gray, wet and stormy!"

OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING started as a pilot in 2018, then in combination/preparation for INTERGASTRA and the subsequent R+T. "This concept has been well received by visitors from the hospitality industry as well as the awning industry," said Sebastian Schmid of Messe Stuttgart. "The growing demand for outdoor solutions in the hospitality industry has confirmed our decision to launch OUTDOOR. AMBIENTE. LIVING during INTERGASTRA 2020 once again."

Ekkehard Kamp is business development leader Outdoor Living at Warema Group and supports Schmid's decision. "Warema and Caravita were already there in 2018 and can only conclude that participation is definitely rewarding. All major suppliers are present and provide an inspiring outdoor living ambience."

Outdoor living continues to be a trend, according to Jan Kattenbeck of markilux. "For several years now we have been betting strongly on it, not least because the hospitality industry has increasingly been using outdoor living to offer guests a better ambiance." The various products produced by the industry now offer the hospitality entrepreneur a range of options for effectively protecting their outdoor environment in all weather conditions. When combined with heating, lighting and a sound system, for example, outdoor comfort can be further enhanced. "But the market is very dynamic and it is our task as an industry to already think about the solutions for the future now," concludes Andreas Husmann, Hospitality sales manager of LEINER GmbH.
