Rainbowsol: 'Interest in outdoor blinds still increasing'

For several years now, Rainbowsol has had outdoor blinds (raffstores) in its product line. Robert Bosch of Rainbowsol notes that interest in this product group continues to grow, not only for application in projects, but also among modern consumers. "In addition to screens and shutters, this product actually belongs in every dealer's standard range of vertical blinds," Bosch believes. "Dealers often use the argument that the customer doesn't ask about it, but that's partly because dealers don't show it in their showroom." 

Rainbowsol's exterior blinds come standard with beaded 80 mm aluminum C slats available in eleven colors, namely RAL 9006, 9007, 9016, 7016, 7035, 9001, 9004, 9004 matte, 9005 matte, 1013 and 1035. For larger quantities, the slats are available in any other desired RAL color. The slats come standard with beaded rubber sound-deadening strips included. The cabinets, which are available in both rectangular and rounded versions, can be finished in any RAL color. This also applies to the guides, spacers and bottom bar. 

"For our exterior blinds, we use only high-quality Swiss components," Bosch emphasizes. "They therefore have a long service life. The slats are equipped with beaded openings for the pull-up band, which means that no vulnerable, wear-prone plastic protective edges are needed to prevent the band from wearing out." For the drive, which is only possible electrically, Somfy motors, remote or otherwise, are used. 

In addition to the standard hanging option, Rainbowsol's outdoor blinds can also use a self-supporting system. In this case, only the guides need to be mounted and the box with motor and slats is placed on the guides by means of a plug-in system, similar to the mounting method for shutters and screens. 

Limited Edition Version

"Like our remaining program, Rainbowsol's outdoor blinds can of course also be supplied in the well-known Limited Edition version," Bosch emphasizes. "Cabinet, bottom bar, guides and spacers are then finished in anthracite gray textured RAL 7016s, Stargrey RAL 9007s and Sparkling Black, with matching slats in the colors RAL 7016, 9006 or 9007." 

"Rainbowsol's outdoor blinds are a useful and attractive addition to any blinds dealer's product line," Bosch concludes. "They are an excellent complement to the line of outdoor vertical blinds that includes screens, zipscreens and shutters. Exterior blinds fit perfectly into this line and are therefore still gaining ground in our country."
