Autonomous and award-winning design

Both models, the LumiSolar and the LinaSolar, are completely designed to operate on solar power: the integrated solar panels charge internal batteries, which in turn power both the actuator motor and optional lighting. Because no electrical cabling is required, installation is faster, easier and can be carried out without cutting or breaking. This is an important advantage in renovation and construction projects. 

Moreover, these products are not just awnings: they have been awarded the prestigious iF Design Award as well as the Red Dot Award 2025, two international recognitions for the perfect balance between innovation, aesthetics and functionality. 

LumiSolar: elegantly rounded and versatile

The LumiSolar is distinguished by its rounded, enclosed cabinet and timeless look, ideal for architectures where softer shapes play a role. Exploiting solar energy makes the system completely wireless and offers flexibility in placement. The maximum dimensions of up to 6 meters of width and 4 meters of projection combine to provide as much as 24 m² of shade realized with just two articulated arms. 

A distinctive configuration is the variant with 6 solar panels and 2 batteries, which generates enough energy to run the LED lighting for long periods in addition to opening and closing. This lighting can be integrated into the cabinet, arms or front frame, and can be 50% dimmable to create different moods. For example, from subtle evening light to accent lighting. 

LinaSolar: clean lines and modern appearance

The LinaSolar awning offers exactly the same benefits technically, but with a straight, modern and enclosed cabinet that blends perfectly with sleek, contemporary facades. Again, the solar solution completely eliminates the need for traditional grid power. 

As with the LumiSolar, there are two configurations: a basic version with 2 solar panels and 1 battery for easy operation; and an extended version with 6 solar panels and 2 batteries that powers the LED lighting in addition to the motor. With a fully charged battery, the awning can open and close up to 45 times, while the lighting can last between 4 and 11 hours depending on intensity.

At a time when user comfort is becoming increasingly important, the integrated solar LED lighting is a clearly distinctive advantage of Winsol. This makes it possible to enjoy outdoor spaces even at sunset without additional power costs, extra cable work or external energy supply. Both models can be equipped with optional sensors - such as sun and wind sensors - that automatically protect the awning in strong winds. In addition, Winsol offers extensive customization options, including a choice of more than 300 RAL colors for cabinet and fabric, so that the awning perfectly matches the facade and appearance of the building.
