With the introduction of the Technik View, Tarasola is taking a new step in the world of patio covers. The bioclimatic roof combines rotating slats with an innovative sliding system that allows the roof to open completely. The result? An open-air feeling at any time.
Koen Sanders (SOL Systems): “The silent scissor mechanism is technically brilliant. During opening, the slats first rotate from horizontal (0°) to vertical (90°), then shift neatly parallel. The compact package takes up only a quarter of the roof area. That gives an unprecedented feeling of freedom and light.”
A unique feature of the Technik View is its extreme accuracy. By using a smart channel system, the projection can be fine-tuned to within 1 mm. This is a huge added value for architects working with complex designs or modern facades.
In addition to Technik View, Tarasola is expanding its product line this year:
- Tarasola Fix with glass roof - A fixed glass structure that combines light, warmth and elegance. Optionally expandable with a second roof layer and integrated LED lighting;
