VERA VENRAY PRESENTS:

THE CUBIST-SHAPED PATIO CANOPY Q BULL

Vera Venray surprised the trade world at Polyclose with the impressive Q Bull terrace covering, which can be used both as a semi-detached and free-standing unit. Both dealers and fellow awning manufacturers have reacted very positively to it and consumers are now also warming to it.

Michèl Willemse has clearly put his own stamp on the Q Bull. "Personally, I don't like the sloping shape of terrace roofs. That's why we chose purely vertical and horizontal lines." Within that cubist structure, the glass roof panels are sloped. All sizes are in proportion to form an optimal overall picture that appeals to end users. "Because we have our own sales, we are in constant contact with end users and therefore feel like no one else what they want," Willemse said.

The Q Bull is available with a free span up to 7 m wide, without intermediate posts. The maximum projection is 4 m. The canopy is available as standard in the colors RAL 9010 textured, anthracite gray RAL 7016 textured and black, RAL 9005 textured, and at extra cost in any RAL color of your choice. In addition to clear glass, the end user can also choose exclusive tinted glass or a combination of both.

To further enhance the Q Bull's usability, there are several options. Among these are screens and glass walls. Again, the choice of clear or tinted glass. The bottom rails for the glass walls have aluminum insert strips for better movement of the glass panels. Draft and soundproof double glazing is also an option. An option under development is a glass wall consisting of a fixed pane below and pane above that can move down and up.

For evening lighting, LED spots can be built into the beams, and work is underway on LED strips, heating and appropriate blinds. "The Q Bull can of course be fitted with lower or upper blinds, but we are also thinking of narrow blinds mounted in guides between the girders of the roof. Such a solution fits very nicely with the look we have in mind for the Q Bull," concludes Michèl Willemse. Vera Venray is not yet finished with the Q Bull and neither is the sun blind world.
