Summer garden systems protect against excessive sunlight and heat, as well as wind, rain and cold

Today we want to spend as much time as possible on our terrace or in the garden, but then we have to take into account the whims of nature. Or do we?

A summer garden system from Sunparadise transforms the patio into an additional living space, so to speak. A simple CUBO patio roof protects the user from the bright heat, but still allows sufficient daylight and outdoor air. Those who also want to be protected from wind or rain can choose a partially or fully enclosed system with, for example, the new GSS 17 hard-glass sliding-stacking wall with individually sliding wings. With the Hawaii 40 Series, the specialist offers consumers an elegant solution for a simple terrace roof or a complex conservatory equipped with a straightforward roof with a glass substructure, a flat roof, pent roof or angled roof.

CUBO and PURE patio roofs

Sunparadise has expanded its range of Hawaii 40 roof systems since last year to include two types: the purist PURE and the cubist CUBO. The Hawaii 40 PURE is a high-quality aluminum structure with sleek profile views and a pitched roof between 4° and 15° that is attached directly to the facade. This canopy includes a rain gutter with integrated leaf protection and can optionally be supplied with dimmable, warm LED lights.

The Hawaii 40 CUBO with flat roof is mounted on the facade or placed freestanding in the garden.

"With the Hawaii 40 CUBO, we are responding perfectly to the design and construction trend toward pure, cubist design. This high-quality flat roof, available with glazing between 8 and 42 mm, can be mounted on the wall of a building and even as a roof overhang without posts. Furthermore, this system can also be placed freestanding in the garden or used as a carport. Invisibly integrated gutters and downspouts ensure efficient water drainage, and thanks to built-in cable channels in the beams, atmospheric LED lighting can also be provided," says Lucas Bouwers of Sunparadise Nederland.
"At Polyclose we presented the latest version of this type, equipped with a new type of roof and available in a completely new dimensioning. Thus, this patio cover is available for areas up to 13.6 meters wide and 6.90 meters deep with only one center pole for support."

GSS 17 hard glass sliding stacking wall

Both the Pure and Cubo are available in a wide range of colors and can be sealed against rain, wind or cold with all-glass, sliding, folding and stacking walls.
"The compleet glass sliding units VG15 and VG17 are based on extremely compact and lightweight aluminum profile systems and are available in 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-track (VG 17 also in 6-track) versions. The individual elements run on ball-bearing running wheels and are equipped with carriers that automatically pull the next element with them when closing," adds Dirk Larivière of Sunparadise Belgium.
"Our new GSS 17 is a hard glass sliding and stacking wall with up to eight individually sliding sashes with dimensions up to 900 x 2700 mm, which are held and guided at the top and bottom in a narrow aluminum profile. All sashes are rotated 90° in one station, so that the entire wall becomes a small sash package. This new, easy-to-install system replaces the Freeslide and will be available from June 2020."
