Sunparadise: 'A patio roof that harmonizes with any building situation'

Outdoor living in one's own garden remains one of the most important trends in our society. But people want the same comfort outside as inside, which means that the terrace should become an extra living space, so to speak. This is where Sunparadise responds with its patio covers, says Lucas Bouwers, who represents Sunparadise in the Netherlands. "This Swiss manufacturer has been developing innovative winter and summer garden systems for many years, such as the thermally insulated HAWAII 80 as the non-insulated HAWAII 60 and HAWAII 40, available in a purist PURE and cubic CUBO variant. The most recent development is the PRIME patio roof. The success of these products leads the Benelux team in Emmen and Herent to continue to grow!"

"The high-quality PRIME is available with glazing between 8 and 33 mm thick, with a wide variety of profiles and with unlimited possibilities for individual design," said Dirk Larivière, who is responsible for the Belgian market. "This patio roof is available with a large number of roof variants, large spans without intermediate posts and more details in installation, safety and design."

"We offer seven standard roof types that can be drawn and calculated quickly and easily," Larivière continues. "This canopy can be attached to a building or balcony edge at an inclination between 5° and 45°. However, the system can also be placed harmoniously in the inside corner or extending around the outside corner or simply integrated into any arrangement in a new construction project. PRIME is even ideally suited as an individual conservatory or balcony enclosure."

"Thanks to the large free span of up to 6.7 m without steel or center post, a view without restrictions is created," Lucas Bouwers adds. "Roof depths of up to 5.5 m and larger without a steel retractable section are also possible. Invisibly integrated gutters and downspouts ensure efficient water drainage."

An optional roof overhang of up to 1.5 m is possible, which can be realized in two ways according to the end user's preference: with split glass with a gutter integrated into the front support or with continuous glass with pre-hung gutter.

Thanks to built-in cable channels in the beams, ambient LED lighting can also be provided. "For improved air circulation, an easy-to-operate ventilation slider can optionally be integrated," explains Bouwers. "Like Sunparadise's other patio roofs, the PRIME is available in a wide range of colors and can be easily installed. To protect users from rain, wind and low temperatures or from the sun, the PRIME patio roof can be enclosed with glass, sliding folding and stacking walls and can be equipped with a completely invisible integrated fabric sunshade."

Benelux Team

The PRIME and other Sunparadise developments can be viewed at the Benelux team's showrooms in Emmen in the Netherlands and Herent in Belgium. For example, the PRIME patio roof at the show site in Herent is equipped with the non-insulated folding wall Fiesta 42, the Ideal 38 sliding wall and aluminum click-on shelves on one side. Dirk Larivière and Steven Billiet have together been the point of contact for Sunparadise in Belgium for many years, while Lucas Bouwers and Rob Jonkergouw take care of the Dutch contacts. Given the significant growth in recent times, their team has recently been expanded with a new field sales representative and a back-up officer. Since April 1, a commercial employee for Western France has also started.
