With the One Company approach, the Voilàp Group is explicitly committed to bundling expertise from its various brands. In the Benelux, this strategy has taken concrete form since July 1, 2025 through new competence centers, in which emmegi and elumatec work closely together. According to Bas Ladestein, Regional Director Voilàp Benelux, manufacturers in the sun protection industry thus benefit from a wider range of products and an even higher level of service.
“The One Company approach is a mission and strategy focused on bundling competencies and creating synergy between our brands,” said Ladestein. “Within the group, we bring together the knowledge of leading industrial players, together with more than 300 years of experience in mechanical engineering, automation and software.”
That combined expertise covers a broad spectrum: from machining profiles in aluminum, plastic and steel to glass processing and digital solutions. “By organizing all that under one roof, customers benefit from a wider product range as well as bundled sales and service capabilities.”

Since July 1, emmegi and elumatec in the Netherlands and Belgium and Luxembourg have been working together within new competence centers. “These entities handle product sales and at the same time lift technical support and service to an even higher level,” says Ladestein. “For the customers themselves, little will change initially. The addresses and contact partners remain the same, but they can now enjoy all the advantages that the ‘One Company’ approach brings. We can now move much faster and provide our customers with more targeted support. Especially for companies in the awning industry, where flexibility and reliability are crucial, this is an important advantage.”

Emmegi and elumatec form the core of the machine offering. “Both brands have a rich history and are known for their high-quality machines for machining profiles in plastic, aluminum and thin-walled steel,” Ladestein explains. “Together we can offer a suitable solution for almost any application today.”
The product range is wide. “Voilàp is the one-stop-shop for cross-cut saws, angle presses with one or four heads, automatically controlled double miter saws, sawing machines and automated CNC machining centers, with or without feed and discharge warehouses. We also supply workshop equipment, logistics solutions and complementary products such as software, digital layouts and robotics.”
According to Ladestein, that's where the real added value lies. “Bringing emmegi and elumatec together creates a wider product range. This enables us to offer customers even more targeted solutions that increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace. This applies to large multinationals as well as SMEs and sole traders.”
To further strengthen its position as a world market leader, the group also recently acquired the German brand Stürtz. This specialist in automated PVC processing machines is a valuable addition to the existing portfolio.
The One Company approach emphatically goes beyond hardware. “Digitalization and smart industry are at the core of our strategic direction,” says Ladestein. “Machines, software and service have to fit together. Only then can you really optimize production processes.”
For the awning industry, he says, this represents a significant step forward. “Many companies face the challenge of producing more efficiently while maintaining quality. By offering solutions holistically, we can help customers in a concrete way.”
The One Company strategy is being rolled out globally. “For example, Voilàp Smart Systems was founded in Shanghai in September 2024, and entities are now active in France, Spain, South America and Scandinavia,” Ladestein concludes. “This international structure ensures that knowledge and innovations are shared worldwide.” The One-Company approach bundles expertise under one roof
